Rietumu Bank Completing the Termination of Cooperation with High-Risk Companies

• 80% of high-risk terminated client relationships already fully completed
• Closure of prohibited risk customers 98% completed
• Strong focus placed on new business in the Baltic States and rest of EU

Rietumu Bank plans to conclude the termination of the cooperation with more than 90% of companies classified as a high risk customers by the end of summer. The progress made by the bank in this area has received positive evaluation of Latvian financial industry oversight bodies, as well as international partners. Rietumu Banka made the decision to terminate co-operation with 4,000 high-risk companies in March.
