In compliance with the loans repayment schedule, Rietumu Bank has paid off the largest tranche – EUR 44 million – of the syndicated loan arranged by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The second tranche of the loan equals to EUR 16 million and will be repaid in 2010. EBRD granted this loan to the Bank in the end of 2005.
Rietumu Bank has two more syndicated loans to be repaid. One of them – EUR 75 million – matures in the second half of 2009, the second – EUR 120 million – in the middle of 2010.
